FAIRY FORE's Life CD came today and I'm over the moon! I also got a copy of the first press of Jet - but it didn't have the Beyblade sticker with it.

Well, it was, uh, signed by all the band but I really wanted that sticker. Hehe. *is a loser*

I only have to get a complete first press of Jet and then I have the first press / normal press of all of their singles and albums! Yay! Then again, I've been looking for this single so damn long... ^^;

Also, I'm still in love with Hellboy. The Smidge and I went to go see the second film again today and I think I now love it even more. Luke Goss, regardless of what some people have been saying, is awesome. Absolutely flumping awesome. And he was in Bros so that automatically means he's made of WIN, but he is really amazing in it. I drew a picture of him as Nuada for today's narmamo and I thought I'd share it with my f-list just in case there are some Hellboy fans around. Anyone?



I admit he's looking a bit on the feminine side - he definately doesn't have his gorgeous cheekbones - but I still really like how it looks. :)

So, yes, today's been awesome and fun and made of WIN.

Well, apart from the fact that my teeth hurt. They actually feel like they're all about to fall out. >_< I could be getting a cold because my nose feels all strange and I can feel a headache coming on as well... Oy. I think I might take some Paracetamol and go to bed.

I know, arachne1, I know - a bit expensive, perhaps? That was actually the Buy it now price, the starting price was 2000 yen. Even the lovely girl operating the shopping service I use told me 'You can probably get it for less than 10,000 yen'. But, you know, I've never seen a copy of it for sale before and, with all the new BREAKERZ and uBuGoe fans cropping up, I didn't want to end up being outbid. ^^;

So there we go, £50 for a CD with one track on. Get in!

I could explain its rarity and importance regarding Akihide but I image that won't interest the majority of my f-list. Just know that it is a very important and godly purchase. Lol.

Ooh, An Cafe's European tour photo book arrived yesterday. It's gorgeous. London looks really, really grim and filthy but still seems quite arty. And, of course, there's the obligatory homage to the iconic Beatles' Abbey Road photograph.

I swear I've spotted the Smidge in the crowd in one of the gig photos. I've definitely seen the hat of the girl who was in front of us, so I'm pretty certain that the Smidge is lurking there too... Thankfully my own face is nowhere to be seen. ^^;

And, finally, Paypal seem to be on the case of sorting out my account, which is handy considering I'm going to have to pay for my FAIRY FORE CD pretty soon. It's just so frustrating not being able to use it. I missed out on the Nyappy go Around the World tour bag because of the lack of an account. Bleh.

I've been scanning my little heart out today. I already posted some stuff on milkyway_ and burn_gorman this afternoon, but I've got a whole stash of stuff left to upload. I did a quick, rough count of all my FAIRY FORE scans and it's around 150 pages. And I still have all the SWEET TRANCE books and DVD booklets left to do... Oy. It's been tough to do, but I can't wait to share them with peoples. Okay, I know of maybe three people who might want to see them, but still. It's all good. :D

Ooh, and it's so nearly the Barrowman! I've just thought to have a look and see where we're going (thought it might help a bit) and I pretty much know where it is - I recognise roads and street names. Heh, Nottingham I can do. I don't know what time we're going to get there for, though... Eevee, I so want to wave at you! 0(≧∀≦)0 *flails at the thought of Mr. Barrowman*

Rightio, I'm off to go and research mobile broadband... Upside? No landline fee (and as I have no house phone, that also means no connection charges :D). Downside? I live in a village. Which gets no signal. Connection speed will not be brilliant...

Michelle came into work to see me today. She stuck her tongue out in greeting then proceeded to flail over the fact that the Barrowman was oh-so-close. I flailed in a similar fashion and the ensuing squee was made of WIN. :D

The Smidge has had a bit of a rethink over the whole sign thing; one is not enough. Therefore, Ma shall wave one asking 'What the hell do you think you're doing?' (in response to the Torchwood finale), I'll flail with a sign declaring 'I am nyappy! Are you nyappy?' (because I am still in full-on An Cafe love mode), and Smidget will hang over balcony to express her fervent belief that 'Janto is made of WIN'. All the while Burn Gorman mun-keh and little_miyavi will be held aloft to the adoring crowd...

I really wish we were all actually mental enough to do that. Poor Mr. Barrowman... First things first, though, I need to find out where we're going; I've kind of forgotten where and exactly when it is. People shouldn't leave me in charge of things...

Speaking of being in charge, I've decided to bloody well stop failing at everything. I've finally got burn_gorman and ubugoe up and running, now I just need to go ahead with my FAIRY FORE media archive and my Gasarasrevolution doodles journal. Oh, and actually post all the photos in little_miyavi.

Ooh, and get this, as I'm writing this I also have Microsoft Word open and am actually writing chapter 4 of 'Bonds'. I feel like I'm slowly starting to not be so useless. :D

One more plan I have (it's all plans with me, really, isn't it? ^^;) is to actually do some painting. I'm going to get some canvases and have a bash at something. I haven't painted in so long and I really hate that I'm not doing any. I hope to sell a few, really - while I'm not brilliant I have had offers in the past but... well, I'm a soppy girl and couldn't bear to part with them *fails at business* Now, though, I'm going to try and paint for the purpose of selling them. And then get rich and get broadband. (^o^)y

Who'd have ever thought that I'd want body fat? Oh, Doctor Who, you corrupt me... It can't be helped, though, the Adipose are just adorable beyond words. Someone needs to make a plushie.

I'd do Anything is on in the background (the Smidge watches it solely for the Barrowman, but I just can't bring myself to watch it even for him...) while I'm randomly faffing about on t'internet. It's actually a lot more involving and difficult that it sounds, by the way - faffing about, that is. It seems that the internet's not in the mood to play and everything is taking twice as long as it should. And if you remember that I only have dial-up to begin with... Yep, it's taken all day just to upload 7 pages of magazine scans for burn_gorman, and I still have five more to go... Burn fans, appreciate it! Lol.

I got another uBuGoe mail magazine today... *contented sigh* Shigure made his introduction this time, talking about Spring and cherry blossoms... Heh, it reminded me of Akihide. I wish I knew more about Shigure. Hell, I wish I knew anything about the man. I fail at a quarter of uBuGoe~ And, dammit, I so wish I could go see them. I always said that if Takashi resurfaced or, miracle of miracles, FAIRY FORE reformed, I wouldn't even think about it, I'd just go to Japan to see them live. Unfortunately, nothing's ever that simple, is it? I keep kind of thinking, 'Oh, what if they sell merchandise? What if there's a demo tape or CD?!' and then I just wail helplessly. I want to be really childish and whine that it's just not fair~ They've just announced a new date for May but I still don't think I'd be able to scrape together the cash to go then either. I really, really hate my bank account. :(

Why do I make such work for myself? Lol.

I'm in the middle of setting up a few more LJ communities... burn_gorman is going well thanks to its awesome members and their sheer enthusiasm - which is fantastic. And as I mentioned before, I'm desperate to get all my Fairy Fore scans complete and uploaded into some kind of media archive community thing. Then there's my illustration / doodle LJ that I'd like to do so I can actually keep my random pictures in order - and backed up in case of a computator crash (fingers crossed this doesn't actually happen, though >_<).

It's all great in theory, but I am quite realistic about how easily - and quickly - this will all happen. Thanks to only having my comedy dial-up, which only lasts for four-hour periods at a time, it's going to be near impossible to upload all the scans I have. This means trips into town to use the library computers... which are free for an hour. But hey-ho, it's not like I do anything else now, is it?

Okay, sorry for the boring rambling. Why do you need to know all that? *shakes head*

Actual proper work today was boring. Ma and the Smidge came to see me after their trip to the hospital. Because I was getting a lift home, via a pub and Chinese takeaway, with them and dad, Jackie said I could leave early. I think that should happen everyday :D

I didn't get paid my bank holiday bonus for Good Friday or Easter Monday, though. Boo, rubbish wages lady! Sort it out please! *shakes stick menacingly*

I scanned another twenty pages of FAIRY FORE interviews today. I'm starting to get the impression that I'm severely pissing my scanner off with all the work I'm making it do. Never fear, little scanning device, I'm at work tomorrow so you can have a rest then.

I've also discovered that I can in fact upload some quite sizable pictures. Okay, it takes a good twenty-thirty minutes to do one picture, but it's better than nothing. I really do need to get broadband but I still just can't afford it. I'm trying to make do though, and I'm currently experimenting with uploading a 4MB mp3 to see if that'll work. If it does then it means I can upload all my FIR~REFORLE demos again for the people who missed them.

So, as well as uploading the Burn Gorman interviews and audio clips, I'm planning on getting all my FAIRY FORE stuff up somewhere. I'm thinking about starting a new community to put it all in. Obviously, I want to keep adding things to fairy_fore but I also want to organise everything neatly and I think keeping all my scans and lyrics separate will be an easier way of doing that. I'll still post them to fairy_fore, or at least link to them, because I'm desperate for the community to keep going.

But that's enough work for today. I'm going to jump in the bath and then settle down to watch Lost and Supernatural with a nice brew and a slice of my gran's wonderful homemade coffee and walnut cake. Perfick. :D

I had a lovely customer today. She was this nice old lady who wanted some balloons and banners for a 70th birthday party and a silver anniversary. The only thing is, she was deaf and could only mouth words. So we spent about ten minutes together and I found it really easy to understand her and she, I think, me. Obviously there were a few things I needed to write down for her - it's a bit difficult trying to explain with vague gestures and nodding that a helium balloon will stay inflated for well over a week if you need to get them in advance, and that latex balloons tend not to last very long. We managed to have a conversation though, and she got everything that she needed and I wrote down some information and stuff for her to take as a reference.

I know it's not really anything worth mentioning but it was just nice. She was lovely and we had a laugh. And I just admire people like her so much. When I was working at Cancer Research UK, there was this wonderful woman that used to come in a lot who had to have surgery on her throat. As a result she ended up unable to talk, but she just carried on like it made no difference in the world. I don't think I'd be that strong.

My god, I've been productive! Lol. All the scans will have to be uploaded at the library some time next week. I'll try post them at the appropriate communities by the end of the week. I've still got about 100 pages of FAIRY FORE articles and interviews to scan. Oy. These'll be done in chronological order, because that seems like it would make the task easier for some reason. Don't ask - it's Oog logic.

Oh, I haven't mentioned Top Garden Ground Gear Force yet have I? Let me write it again: Top Garden Ground Gear Force. It is going to be fantastic!

Bad news of the day? Burn Gorman apparently has a false beard in The Curse of Steptoe. A beard! Oh, and there's YORKE postcards for sale... in a shop in Japan. Why does he never sell things over the internet? Bad YORKE... No, I can't stay mad at you.

Right then, gone a bit mental. Time for a lie down, I think.

Work was pretty good today. It went quickly and I wasn't harassed by many customers, though my mom and the Smidge did come in to pester me for a bit. :)

Now I'm sitting at the computer browsing Ebay for jackets for Ken dolls... for mah Burn mon-keh. Because I am the saddest loser that the world has ever known! But hey-ho, keeps me out of trouble.

Today also gave me the motivation to start some missions! I'd like to set up my art Livejournal, especially now I've discovered I can upload fairly decent sized pictures with my comedy dial-up. My second plan is to get some stuff together to post at fairy_fore because I've neglected it of late. I've got quite a lot of stuff to scan but uploading big, mahoosive J-Rock magazine sized scans is another matter altogether. For a start I might post lyrics. I've already got all their songs typed up in romanji, a few in kanji, and it wouldn't be that terribly difficult to do the rest. I mean, how hard is it to spend hours listening to Fairy Fore while you type up lyrics?! Exactly.

I also need to get cracking with things for burn_gorman. I've got things I can scan, but again there's the uploading of mahoosive scans issue. I might start out with the basics - a decent filmography and a list of places to buy Burn related things and such. Biographical info's a bit hard to come by, as is anything related to his works in music. But I'll persevere!

What else? My biohazard100 mission is still waiting to be finished. But I have Photoshop back now, and a few icons already made. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to have a good crack at things.

Yup, I am ambitious!

For now though, I'm going back to Ebay. And then work again tomorrow. Followed by fish and chips. And t'internet. And sleep. And weekend.

Gemma's here! Yay!

It's strange, though, 'cause she came in and started tidying up... The house wasn't even a mess, but she just, well, tidied. This, for Gemma, is pretty unusual. Heh.

But she's awesome and I adore her to pieces. I mean, of course, she's frustrating and mental, but she's also so damn stupid and funny at times. She created her own brand of dancing, and has a rather unique take on mine and Jayme's love of Japan - "He looks like a girl." "Where are all your mingers (manga)?"

She does most of it deliberately, but it's funny at the same time. She did used to laugh at Martian Successor Nadesico and had a fascination with Sailor Moon for a while though, so she's not all bad. ^^

Anyhoo, it's feeling more and more Christmassy now. There are presents stacked up everywhere at the moment, and Gemma's still got to go shopping and there's a few more things I need to get, too. And I need to find that one absent present... The living room is going to be buried underneath presents this year, which will be pretty awesome. Too bad most of them aren't for me... Hehe.

And after that short pointlessness, I have to go again. I've got work again tomorrow, but then it's nothing but raving joy - hang on, FAIRY FORE's VIVID has just started and I can't help grinning and fangirling! - until I go back to work next Saturday. I had agreed to work Thursday, but that just seems stupid now. Not doing that... Lol.

I also have to say sorry for not commenting that much. I've been swamped by work and Christmas, but I will get round to catching up with everyone~

Thanks to the Smidge's obsession with Super Dollfies, I may have figured out a little something about FAIRY FORE...

In the 「HEAVEN'S MARKET」 booklet, Akihide describes Takashi as "Blue Fairy". Could this possibly be a reference to Blue Fairy dolls? After all, I think, in that context, the description would fit Takashi perfectly. ^^

I was watching 「SPICE SHOWER」 earlier and my dad came wandering into the living room, heading upstairs... then he heard the beginning of SWEET-ness and turned around and sat down with me to listen to it. Lol. He really, honestly and truly loves that song and it just makes me smile. He hates all my weird Japaneseness, but if he hears a tiny bit of SWEET-ness, he can't leave the room until it's finished. He's awesome. :D

I also feel like I haven't said it enough but... I really love FAIRY FORE. Reading that Yokoi went to go and see BREAKERZ the other night made me squee with pure joy. And, of course, that he went out with Takashi on his birthday.

It also highly amuses me that they are connected to Final Fantasy. Yokoi is such a fanboy (he's recently been obsessing over FFIII) and he adores the game series, yet he also performed a song for the associated anime. How weird and awesome must that be? Lol.

That sentence needed to be punctuated like that then to try and get across just how really bloody freezing it is. My right hand (the one operating the mouse) is like ice and my left is dangling stupidly close to the storage heater at my feet. It's ridiculously freezing and I might just die.

You know in The Day After Tomorrow when it gets so cold people instantly freeze when they go outside? That's my room. I am dead from cold.

I finally got the Christmas cards sent out today! Yay, late as ever. Hopefully they will reach everyone before Christmas. They should. Really. *looks hopeful*

I also have to apologise for them. I fail at writing Christmas messages. Sorry about that, really. I realised I was running out of time and didn't really have the chance to write as much as I wanted to in them. But I'm sure I'll get round to writing you all Christmas messages on here a little nearer the big day itself. Please don't attack me for being useless. :(

Oh, the stuff was actually delivered today as well! Oh man, I can't tell you how much in love I am with everything that arrived. There was a bundle of Yubinbasya things (Karma, leaflets, and a lovely, lovely Zax and Cloud glass. :D), millions of Plastic Tree CDs and stuff (Thirteen singles, 「二次元ヲゴール」 video, postcards, stickers and a fan. *sparkle*) and the SWEET TRANCE 2001 booklet (I now have all the booklets with FAIRY FORE in. XD). So there was much fangirling. Oddly though, the biggest shriek of joy came when I was looking through the SWEET TRANCE book and found Psycho le Cemu's photos. Lol. I don't know why but I kind of forgotten they'd be in there. *is a moron* Hehe, so I'm very much in love. All I have to do now is get the rest of the Plastic Tree CDs I haven't got. And 「FLOWLY」. And 「M」. And 「Boys, be ambitious」... Presents, anyone? Please? ^^;

Work was fine today. I went in late and did very little other than drink coffee and eat muffins... So, yeah, not bad.

At the moment I'm looking for more presents on Ebay and Yahoo! Auction. Random fact? If you search for 'FAIRY FORE' on Yahoo! Auction, as I so often do, you get more results for Barbie dolls than the actual band. I thought someone might like to know that. Anyway, I don't know why I'm looking. I can't really buy anything for myself at the moment, and I've already bought everything I need to off the internet. I just get a bit carried away, you know? I'm always thinking 'Oh, I could get Smidge a little something else, and I'm sure my mom would like that...'

It's not just me though, is it? I think most people just can't help spending at this time of year. 'tis fun.

Oh, Christmas card choices now include - wait for it - One Piece!
